When you’re preparing for a big event, whether it be a big race or a big date, there are certain things you want to do beforehand. And there are certainly things you don’t want to do.

Masturbation can fall into both categories. Whenever you have jerked off (notice I didn’t say “if”), you probably noticed how relaxed you were afterward. You probably weren’t ready for a “peak performance,” so to say.

See, masturbation changes everything. That’s why some elite athletes will avoid having sex for a certain number of days or weeks before a big event.

But if you’re going a date, that changes EVERYTHING!

This is one of those times where you need to be relaxed. Remember in There’s Something About Mary… you can’t go out with a loaded gun! If you do, you won’t last very long, and your chances of getting in bed with said girl again are slim to none.

Actually, that’s assuming you get into bed with her in the first place. If you’re jumpy and can only think about sex, you’ll be too distracted to get that far.

But since I’m an athlete and not a dating expert, I’d check out a site like MenMind for more insight.
